   Welcome

The Byre is a delightful converted holiday property with a beautiful outlook over quiet open countryside near the village of St Mabyn, about five miles from Wadebridge and Bodmin. Set in six acres of land, there is room to roam and find quiet sunny corners at your leisure. The mature one acre garden lends itself well to outdoor games.

The Byre along with our own home was a dairy farm in the distant past. We have converted the buildings over a period of time since 2003 and The Byre is our only self-catering accommodation for visitors. We designed it carefully with guests in mind and it includes underfloor heating for the cooler months to ensure a comfortable cosy stay. Full use has been made of the original openings to bathe the building in light; a rare quality in a barn.

The accommodation is now an ideal haven for relaxing, outdoor eating or enjoying a drink looking across the garden towards stunning sunsets. A barbecue is available.
